Inspired by the iconic 90’s singing troupe, The Broadway Kids, BROADWAY KIDS NYC brings together a talented ensemble of young performers poised to become the stars of tomorrow. This dynamic musical revue showcases an electrifying mix of beloved Broadway hits and contemporary favorites, all performed with youthful energy and show-stopping talent in the heart of New York City.

AUDITION INFORMATION

Auditions for BROADWAY KIDS NYC are now open to pro-level performers ages 7-20 years old, offering young talent the chance to showcase their skills in an exciting musical revue in the heart of New York City. This is a unique opportunity to perform alongside a small cast of rising stars and gain valuable experience in a professional setting.

Every cast member will have solo singing parts and featured ensemble roles. We’re seeking talented triple-threat performers to join this intimate cast.

Auditions are due Sunday, January 26th.

 
 

GENERAL INFORMATION

Hybrid Production Dates:

February 16 - March 9, 2025

NYC In-Person Dates March 8 & 9

All other dates are REMOTE.

**POSSIBLE SESSION #2: March 30 - April 19, 2025 (NYC In-Person Dates April 18 & 19). We are not currently auditioning for these dates.

Remote rehearsals will be held 2-4 times a week, including Sunday evenings, with other dates based on availability. Please list any conflicts on your audition form. In-person dates are required.

 

Tuition: $895

Payment plans are available.

Tuition includes professional training in vocal performance, acting, and dance, personalized coaching, and participation in a professional musical revue. Cast members will also benefit from working with industry professionals through exclusive workshops and Q&A sessions, gaining valuable experience in stage presence, teamwork, and networking opportunities.

Additional expenses such as show tickets ($15-$30), food and beverage minimums ($25/pp + tip/tax), travel, personal costume pieces, and other related costs are not covered.

We want every young performer to succeed, so don't stress about perfection — just be yourself and shine!

 

AUDITION DETAILS:

  1. Optional Slate - Introduce yourself (Full name, age, where you are based, and a few details about yourself, why you'd like to be a part of this show)

  2. Vocal Audition and Optional Dance Audition - Sing 1-2 short musical theatre songs that shows off your range and personality. *This can be a previously recorded audition or performance video, as long as it's from the last 6 months.

  3. Upload your video to YouTube or Vimeo and set as UNLISTED (not private!). This must be one video.

  4. Fill out the AUDITION FORM and submit!

KOTA introduced Broadway Kids NYC in 2015, showcasing a talented cast whose members have since gone on to achieve remarkable success.

Alumni have performed in Broadway productions and national tours, including Frozen (Original Cast), School of Rock, Fiddler on the Roof, The Sound of Music, and Les Misérables, as well as series regulars on popular TV shows such as American Housewife (ABC), The Mighty Ducks (Disney+), Succession (HBO) and Life & Beth (Hulu). Additionally, cast members have starred in major film franchises, including Disney’s hit movie ZOMBIES!
