NEW YORK CITY PERFORMING ARTS COMPANY
KIDS OF THE ARTS (KOTA) is a vibrant 501(c)3 non-profit based in New York City with a global reach, empowering young talent around the world. Founded by Laura Luc, KOTA ignites passion in aspiring artists, inspiring them to channel their creativity into a powerful force for positive change.
KOTA has brought celebrated productions like Disney’s Camp Rock, the U.S. Premiere of A Little Princess, and the NYC Revival of Annie Warbucks to life. In 2020, we adapted to virtual platforms, uniting artists worldwide and proving that creativity has no limits. Beyond the stage, KOTA dedicates a portion of its proceeds to local and global charitable causes, amplifying our impact year after year.
KOTA has trained and worked with performers from over 75 Broadway productions and National Tours. Additionally, KOTA talent has been seen starring in feature films and television shows. Our performers continue to thrive in the industry with KOTA’s professional training, performance opportunities, and encouragement to guide them on their way to success in the arts and beyond.
Join us on this extraordinary journey as we empower the next generation of artists, equipping them with the skills and inspiration needed to thrive in the arts and beyond. Discover more about our past triumphs and upcoming endeavors, and become part of the KOTA family today!
"The show [And a Child Shall Lead] existed in a wonderful bubble, a performance of real depth and weight, which moved me frequently, and affected me viscerally even more frequently."
