SYNOPSIS
Based on New York Times best-selling author Sheryl Berk's popular book series, Dance Divas Nutcracker follows a group of passionate young dancers in pursuit of their dreams. When a famous ballet academy is looking for ballerinas to star in their annual holiday production of The Nutcracker, Scarlett thinks she will be a shoe-in for the lead role of Clara. But it's actually her little sister Gracie, with her big smile and bubbly energy, that catches the directors’ eye. The dancers learn that teamwork and friendship can get you through anything, along with a little holiday magic!

Dance Divas Nutcracker made its World Premiere at Theatre Row in Times Square, NYC December 2017. The musical was created by an all-female creative team, including Sheryl Berk (Book), Rachel Griffin (Music), Danielle Trzcinski (Lyrics), with Direction by Laura Luc, Music Direction by Kristin Stowell, Choreography by Maria May, and Assistant Direction by Jeorgi Smith. This virtual production will be the second time in history that Dance Divas Nutcracker is being produced, with an international cast from across the United States, South America and Canada.
